Jewish Presence in Latin American

"The Jewish Presence in Latin American Art in the Twentieth Century" exhibition is being organized through a partnership between the Office for Academic and Public Partnerships in the Arts and Humanities, Rutgers' Jane Voorhees Zimmerli Art Museum, and the Yeshiva University Museum in New York. This one-of-a-kind exhibition will present over 100 artworks by more than 50 artists of Jewish heritage who lived and worked in South America, Central America, Mexico, and the Caribbean nations. It will be realized through two interrelated exhibitions presented at the two institutions in overlapping time periods in early 2009 and will travel to additional national and international venues.
